Christmas with the Herlihy's

The day after Christmas, Kevin, Kerriann and I packed up all of our belongings and made the trip from Gassaway, WV to Potomac, MD to celebrate Christmas with Kevin's family.  His Dad's side of the family, the Herlihy's, always try to get together for a weekend around Christmas, and we were so glad that we were all able to make it this year.  We shared a delicious dinner of lasagna and then took turns opening our Secret Santa gifts.  Katie did a wonderful job of playing Santa ;). After that we watched a taping of Kevin's cousin interviewing their Grandmother and Grandfather in the '90's.  It was so interesting to hear them talk about what life was like for them growing up, and their experiences throughout life.

Though we didn't have a lot of time to spend together, it was a lot of fun!  I love Kevin's family and I'm so lucky to be a part of it :).
