Memory Monday-Cruise '08

Today's Memory Monday is dedicated to our cruise to Mexico!  Kevin was finishing training at Ft. Benning, GA at the same time as my spring break, so I flew to Atlanta, GA to meet him.  After that we drove down the coast stopping along the way in Pensacola to stay the night and check out the naval museum and took a cruise out of Mobile, AL.  The ship made stops for us to explore the Chichen Itza Mayan ruins in Yucatan, Mexico and Progreso, Mexico where we rented dune buggies and took a trip to a light house and also went snorkeling.  After the cruise we drove through Texas making stops in Austin to visit my Uncle David, Aunt Lisa, and cousins Colin and Kevin, and to check out the local nightlife.  We made our final stop in Dallas, TX where I caught a flight back to WV.  Kevin started his training at Ft. Sill, OK shortly after.

It was a great trip and we can't wait to do something like that again!  Below are a few pictures from the week... we have so many beautiful ones it was hard to narrow them down.

Huge flag in the museum
I thought this picture was neat because the plane on the bottom right says "KA"... you can see me blankly staring off in the bottom middle
