Henderson Park-Labor Day Wknd

Saturday morning we took advantage of the semi-cool morning weather and took Kerriann to one of our favorite spots in Enterprise, Henderson Park.  We try to walk the loop there most weekday mornings, but we don't have many chances to take Kevin with us.  It was so nice to have his company!  We let Kerriann run around in the grass for about 45 minutes... she was having so much fun and threw a fit when it was time to go home.  This little girl LOVES playing outside, hopefully that never changes!

Check out her first scraped knee-she wanted to run on the pavement rather than staying on the grass!  Funny thing is, she wasn't upset because of her "boo boo," but because Mommy picked her up and stopped her from playing!

PCB 8-28-10

The day after we returned from our trip home, we took a trip to Panama City Beach with our friends Carmen and Henry and their son Alexander.  It was so great to get out of Enterprise and spend some time with Kevin and our friends after not seeing them for so long.  We had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the beach and then we decided to play in the sand.  The weather wasn't the greatest, it was overcast and had been raining earlier in the day, but we decided that it was better for Kerriann that way anyway.  She LOVED the beach and was so upset when it was time to go home.  Below are pictures from our beach trip!

Our Trip Home...

I am going to come back and write this post later!  Wanted to quickly get some pictures up from the past week... so I'll fill you in on our trip when Kerriann naps and I have more time to think ;).

Bridal Shower

During my trip home, one of the main events planned was my bridal shower!  It was held August 8, 2010 in Morgantown, WV.  My bridesmaids did an amazing job of planning it... I couldn't believe all of the detail they put into everything!  I couldn't have asked for anything better.  I just can't wait until they start getting married so I can return the favor! ;)

Below are pictures from the shower... I'll do  more explaining as we come to them!

Favors made by my creative cousin Courtney
centerpieces
We played a game where all of the guests had to answer questions about me to see who knew me best... and we also played the game where I had to answer questions about Kevin.  Every time I got one wrong I had to stuff a piece of bubble gum in my mouth... I only got 4 wrong... pretty good!
Opening gifts... and handing bows to my official bow maker-Kathryn
With my lovely assistant ;)
Can't wait to use this at parties!
Kerriann looking cute as always, she had a great time trying out everyone's phones
Gorgeous shadow box from my mom that reads "Adriane and Kevin 10-30-10"
My amazing cake!  Made by a friend from high school... she's just starting a cake business and I think she did a great job for being a beginner!
With my completed bow-bouquet that I will use for the wedding rehearsal
With all of my guests, minus my mom and Kevin's mom
With my Chi O ladies
With 7 of my 8 beautiful bridesmaids

The only picture we didn't get that I'm so upset we missed, is one of me with both of the moms!  We will have to take lots at the wedding to make up for it!

Thanks again to my bridesmaids and friends for making my shower so wonderful.  You all mean so much to me and I can't wait to see you in October!

Enagement Photos

Kevin and I are so excited to finally share our engagement photo session with you!  The photos were taken June 2, 2010 in Morgantown, WV.  Most were taken on the rail trail along the river, one was taken on WVU's campus, and the last ones were taken at Cooper's Rock which is a short drive from downtown Morgantown.

We spent about 3 hours total with our photographer, Howie McCormick, and his assistant, Erica Duffield.  We ended up with so many amazing pictures, but were forced to choose just 10 favorites.  One of my best friends and bridesmaids, Autumn Culver, volunteered to watch Kerriann for us which was such a huge help... thanks again Autumn!  The whole photo session was like a little date night to us.  It was so much fun to do something together other than dinner or a movie.  We don't have a lot of opportunities for that these days, so it was a welcomed change.  Alright, I'll stop talking now and get to the pictures... here they are... all taken by Howie McCormick Photography...

Chuck E Cheese

We took Kerriann to Chuck E Cheese for the first time July 25th (the day before my due date last year!). Our good friends Katie, Chris, and their daughter Madison wanted to get out of the house because most of their stuff was already packed up in boxes to move by that time.  We all enjoyed the pizza and were able to play a few games!  Below are some pictures... hope you enjoy them!

We're back!

Kerriann and I have officially been back in Alabama for a week now!  We have been taking our time settling back in, so that is why I haven't really had a chance to blog.  I'll try to get caught up this weekend while Kevin is home.  We're so lucky that he doesn't have a lot of homework, and he has Monday off... this never happens!

We hope all of our friends and family have a safe and enjoyable labor day weekend!

Love,
Adriane, Kevin & Kerriann
